Hey everyone! I joined Avatar Nations because it looks like it will be fun and I thought that Roleplaying would be fun! I am a Admin for the site and hope to help make it really popular and be on a lot. =) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  -Selwyn- |Male| A well rounded, powerful Water Bender with basically a good attitude. Has the bending capability of doing extreme damage and also knows how to heal harsh wounds. Pet~Abumagi (means Scales of Energy) full grown dragon animal companion that helps transport, fight with, and defend him. He only obeys Selwyn.  This is where the Dark Organization had there headquarters. It leads to a set of prisons that I was kept in.  This is where the prisoners of the Dark Organization are kept, although they never kept many prisoners...I was but one of very few that they did keep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Selwyn's Escape Selwyn was sitting by a pool of water with Abumagi resting nearby. He was idly Bending the water, not really paying attention. Abumagi looked up and growled deep in his throat as a shadow fell across Selwyn. He looked up, but wasn't fast enough. In the blink of an eye, Selwyn's hands were held behind his back with a knife pressed to his throat. Abumagi got up and roared. "Call the beast off now." Selwyn met Abumagi's eyes and said, "Down boy." Abumagi breathed smoke, but didn't make a move again. More shadows appeared and subdued the dragon. "Who are you and what do you want?" Selwyn demanded of the mystery man. The man hissed sharply, "That's none of your business, but...since you are to die I guess it doesn't matter. I am Mik of the Dark Organization, sent by Shedai." Selwyn frantically searched his mind, trying to decide what to do. The others were nowhere near and he couldn't call for help... An idea flashed into his head and he calmly replied, "Take me to her. I want to speak to Shedai." Mik laughed scornfully. "What would she want with the likes of you?" Selwyn tried to move his head, but the knife tightened against his skin. "Take me to her before you kill me, I may have something valuable to offer her." Mik couldn't possibly imagine what the Water Nation Leader could offer Shedai so that she would spare him, but he was curious. Selwyn had counted on him being curious and was lucky Mik was in a decent mood. "Alright, I'll take you to her, then kill you." Mik laughed, a harsh and unpleasant sound. Abumagi was taken to the Dark Organization along with Selwyn. The dragon was taken and locked up while Selwyn was taken to see Shedai. Shedai was in a dark room with a high ceiling that arched high overhead. There was not much light, it was lit only by the candlelight, throwing shadows dancing on the walls. Shedai stood at the end on a platform and she turned around as the two entered. The Water Nation Leader bowed and Shedai's eyes flashed angrily at Mik. "Why isn't he dead?" She practically snarled at him. Mik cringed noticeably and bowed. "H-he wished to see you..." Shedai turned back to Selwyn. "Wish to beg for your life?" She sneered. Selwyn's eyes changed to anger, then back to being neutral. "I wish to strike a deal with you." Shedai laughed, her laugh was coarser and eviler than Mik's laugh. "What could you possibly have that I would want?" Selwyn looked at her, his eyes showing no fear. He said one word, "Power." Shedai stopped laughing and her face turned into a scornful expression. "Power?!" She scoffed, then laughed again. "The Water Nation Leader offering me power! Oh this is too good." Selwyn became very angry and hoped his plan would work. "I know you seek the destruction of the Nations if you are out for the Leaders, and I can offer something much better-for you to rule all the Nations." Selwyn let it sink in for a second and watched Shedai's face turn into an ugly gleeful expression. Then Shedai's face crumpled into a dangerous expression and took a step towards Selwyn, "You had better not lie and break your deal. Hm...what about your end of the bargain?" Shedai cut Selwyn off as he started to speak. "Your life. As long as you are not lieing, you may stay alive...for now." Selwyn nodded and knew this was the only deal he would get, but he would have to think of something fast. Mik stood up, amazed and Shedai seemed to become aware of his presence once more. She smiled, "Mik, take our...guest to where he will stay." Shedai stared intensely at Mik. "And we continue as planned." Mik nodded, bowed, and grabbed Selwyn, dragging him to the dungeons. "Here my Lord." He said mockingly, locking the door behind Selwyn. Selwyn was the only one in the dungeon. The Leader sank onto one of the benches and put his heads in his hands. "What have I done? What am I going to do?" He whispered. Little did Selwyn know that Mik had been dispatched to kill the Earth Nation Leader Ling. Selwyn was brought food and when liquid was brought, he was bound and fed the water by the person who brought it. The next few weeks passed with the same routine and Selwyn was forgotten by Shedai. When Shedai decided to attack the Nations she left with the message that she would see Selwyn when she returned. The D.O. became busy with people bustling about, preparing for battle. The people that brought Selwyn his food and water became careless. A novice that had just joined the Dark Organization didn't bind Selwyn and left a pitcher full of water with Selwyn in the cell... When Selwyn realized this he smiled, happily realizing there was a chance for an escape. Selwyn quickly ate the food, feeling his strength returning. He Bended the water, it arched out of the pitcher and right through the bars. Selwyn put the water around his wrist like a lasso and ran out of the dungeon. He gave a short whistle and Abumagi roared. Selwyn ran to find his dragon, finding Abumagi chained. Selwyn broke the chains and got on Abumagi. By now the alarm had been raised, but the D.O. hesitated in attacking them. Abumagi spread his wings and flew over the soldiers, clawing a few of them as his talons scraped on the way by. Abumagi knew where to go and flew out of the maze of tunnels with Selwyn throwing the water at people who tried to stop them. The fresh air blew over Selwyn and he breathed deeply. He saw a black cloud far in the distance and aimed Abumagi towards it. The black cloud seemed to swell, then shrink and disappear all together. Night came and he landed, sleeping next to Abumagi. When dawn came he continued on the course he had set and flew into the Earth Nation, landing at the Leaders palace.
